Danielle Campbell

Our next highlight is Danielle Campbell! She is a second-year student at New College of Florida studying Urban & International Studies. Before joining the inaugural Lo-Fi cohort, Campbell produced local news broadcasts at WSLR Community Radio through the Sarasota-Manatee Arts & Humanities Internship Program.

Campell’s artistic expertise is creative writing, which she states is inspired by her day-to-day life, nature, and silence. She aspires to not only develop her skills as a writer, but also learn new skills, which led her to apply for the Lo-Fi program.

“Lo-fi can help me express myself more as a writer, particularly by helping with my flow,” Campbell said. “I also like the prospect of receiving a TEFL certificate which would allow me to travel the world with more job prospects.”

Campbell credits the artists Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, and SZA as “powerful women whose music has touched [her] heart in many ways.” She has also been inspired by Lady Diana’s kindness and candor.

Campbell can be connected with on Instagram @justbeingdani.
